Really confused maths A2 subjects

Am I able to do m1 as one of my maths modules in a2? I looked at the edexcel grade boundaries and saw that m1 was under as level and m2 was under a2. I did s1 first year would my m1 grade count towards my overall a2 grade?

Yes you can. The requirements for your 2 applied modules are any 2 different applied modules ending in 1 or... 2 applied modules ending in 1 and 2 starting with the same letter.

So basically some examples:

M1, S1 yes

D1, M1 yes

S1, S2 yes

M1, S2 no

D1, M2 no
