choosing a levels

I want to study economics at uni. Which a levels should I take to get into a good university like Warwick or exeter?
Anything maths related.
Maths will undeniably make you more attracted on paper. I recommend Accounting too, if your school offers it
Eww, why would you do accounting? Maths and especially statistics are very useful. Sociology will come in very handy too, although that will depend on exactly how you want to specialise with your economics. Otherwise politics is an obvious choice, as is history actually, not quite as directly but it's a very good holistic subject.
can someone over here tell me which options should I chose while I go for registration...I'm a private candidate and I don't know what these variants are: like in Bio and Chem, there are options AY, EY , DY, FY ...etc.....what do I have to chose?
Economics, Mathematics statistics, History/ philosophy / further maths/ english / a foreign language. having a combination of those would be ideal. but its perfectly possible to get in with one science. I'd advise at least one extra essay subject just to get you used to writing lots of essays - and history will teach you how to reference early which really helps.
