Woah...that sucks so bad. I'm gonna crawl into a ball now and cry myself to 20 cats and a box for a house

I really hope I get an offer or an interview at least!
From previous years threads, I've read that some people apply because they don't know what else to do except medicine but the interviewers realise that they're not interested once met so don't worry!

I totally agree, I've been reading through the ones on here and only a few mention their subjects (only for a couple of sentences). I'll tell him I'm not adding anything extra and if he doesn't agree then tough for him. Thanks for saying this, I really needed it.

You're welcome  anytime.

That's from previous year statistics,
Let's hope it's lower this year
Last year a lot of people replied to those Threads, not so much this year.. Maybe it's a good sign

Hey guys I'm thinking of applying to this but I was just wondering when it says to be eligible your parents must be in recipient of a means-tested benefit, what is this? Any examples would be great.
Also, when it says a level grades of BBC is this AS or A2 grades?
Thanks!

Means-tested benefits are sometimes known as “top-up benefits” because they can top up your income if it's below a certain level. Allowance: paid to people who are unemployed and are on a low income. and Support Allowance: paid to people whose ability to work is limited by illness or disability and are on a low income.

And it's predicted or achieved A2 grades
Good luck

Ooh that's exciting!
I think if I get an interview, I will just have to ace that.
The only problem is the group interview, it's all about debating and I'm not very good at debating whatsoever!
So I'm quite worries about that.

I'm doing a general medicine Personal statement
I'm not sure
Surely they'll know the reason why?
Because we didn't have the standard qualifications for normal entry ?
I'll ask someone who does foundation medicine
And let you know
