What happens if I fail an A-level subject I don't want anyway?

I know what I need and I know I'd be 10x better off without this stupid btec, but I'm not allowed to drop it (I will have more than enough AS anyway).
It's just wasting my time which I could put into subjects that actually matter -.-

If I'm not allowed to drop it, what happens if I fail it?
If I'd get AAAAAU? what would unis think when I apply with AS like that? :s-smilie:

No it doesn't really matter. Most universities only look at your top 3 A levels.

I guess, would be better just not to have it...

why not just try and do well in it? is it relevant to what you want to study at uni?

also it would help if you slightly missed your offer, i take it its a Level 3 subsidiary diploma?

Nothing will happen, you won't even get a certificate for it - meaning you don't have to declare it to universities or anything!
