im stuck on a few questions:

Difference between coding and encryption of data?
What other measures should be included in legislation?

Do you mean the encoding and encryption of data? If so..

Encoding is just transforming the data into a different format so that it can be used for different applications such as MP4 to MPEG.. Also think of ASCII.. Unicode and Binhex.. Then there's also converting from analog-to-digital for networks and telephone lines.

Encryption is just deliberate act for concealing the contents of the data.. The transformation of the data is known as ciphertext. Important for passwords and other important and private information such as bank credentials!

People strangely so think they are synonymous... THEY ARE NOT SYNONYMOUS!!! :smile:

The second question is actually a bit vague.. I know it's relating to computing.. But measures for what legislation? :smile:
