They're not. They just excel at different sports e,g How frequent are world class cyclists who are black?
They definitely look more athletic and have better muscle tone. I dunno the reason but presume it's evolution.
I can't say that All black people are but African Americans in particular are very athletic and IMO the best Athletes in teh World. African Americans have had success in a variety of sports....

Survival of the fittest.

The strongest Africans survived the middle passage to America, therefore you could argue that they are more athletic and strong

It's one reason why I predict America's lack of success in men's soccer. Unlike Africans, African Americans have very little interest in soccer. Once we get into the sport more America will be as competitive as we are in every other sport.

Not a valid comparison.

Cycling isn't a sport for poor people. For ball sports all you need is some footwear and you join your local club who provide you with the kit you need. In cycling, you have to spend a lot on the bike, equipment, food, training, before you can even think about joining a club.

Your class background sorta determines what sport you get into.

Bitch please
3 and 6 would smash back doors in
Not surprising how threads like this turn racist.
Environment and Slavery.

Environment. We did not hunt for food with guns but rather with spears, we had to adapt to fight against it physically to eat and live. --> White people used guns etc.

Slavery. We had to change to adapt to the harsh physical labour we had to carry out.

Selection pressure --> Survival of the fittest --> Best genes past on --> Higher genetic potential for muscles/ larger frames.

Yeah but American Sports (with the exception of Basketball in some respects) has a greater emphasis on power and speed etc as opposed to the skill that Football requires. That's why Football isn't regarded as "manly" in US culture in addition to the fact that the women's team excel at it far more.

Secondly, America's lack of success is due to the fact they don't have any true "star quality" players, goalkeepers aside. Dempsey was an ok striker but never really set the Premier League alight and there hasn't really been a world-class American player who starts/started as a regular for one of the big elite teams e.g. Barca, Real, Bayern, Utd, Chelsea, City, Arsenal, etc except for Howard when he was at Utd but again he was a goalkeeper. A more realistic target for American Soccer rather than to expect to win the world cup is to aim to produce world class players which they haven't really produced other than Friedel or Howard. Donovan you could make a case for but didn't play long enough in the Prem to demonstrate that.

Thirdly, the college sports system just isn't ideal for a budding soccer player. By the time you come out of college you're 21/22 and whilst this might be ok for the NBA or NFL, a lot of footballers already made their debuts at 17/18 and established by their early 20s. To come into professional soccer (in Europe) at 21+ straight from college is difficult. They might be able to waltz into the MLS but that's more indicative of the quality of the league (with all due respect). The whole college sports culture is part and parcel of US sporting life and many young guys wouldn't want to risk passing up on a college degree to try their luck breaking into the premier league or la liga at 17/18 especially as I keep pointing out there hasn't been a precedence for it previously.

Also whilst there is the possibility for American soccer to improve, by that reckoning the "bigger teams" will get better too so it may well be a case of the status quo being maintained. For now at least.

If you come from a poverty background, you're not going to be able to afford the equipment needed for certain sports, let alone the cash to support yourself whilst you commit to it.

This is probably true and may be a reason (+ culture) why black people partake less in winter sports. Some sports have very expensive equipment and lesson fees. Like ice skating.
