Art Exam Prep- Rituals

Hii, for my GCSE Art exam, I chose the subject Rituals, but I have no idea where to start! I have to research two artists and I also need some title page ideas.

I suggest making a mind-map of everything that comes to mind when you think of rituals. Personally, I think of rituals in religion surrounding prayer and worship, and also routines, such as patterns and also biology. If you put all of your ideas together in a mind-map, then you can go on to find some artists relating to this. When I did GCSE art, I would think of a certain aspect (One of my themes for example was headdress) and then type into Google something like "Native American art". Try different word combinations in Google as well. Also, when you have an idea that you want to go with your teacher may be able to suggest some artists to you. I found looking through Tumblr and Instagram really useful as well.
