Which university is best suited to lead one to a career in visual effects?

I am looking to go to a university in london to study visual effects or some form of 3d animation and modelling. At the moment i am looking at hertfordshire, brunel, London metropolitan, ravensbourne and university of west London. The university of west London course particularly interests me because they seem to focus solely on cgi and involve the different aspects of the pipeline. (i am particularly interested in matte painting). However i heard the course there is new and that it isn't a very good uni, what do you guys think?
Thanks
Do not go London Met or West London. Brunel and Hertfordshire are both equally good and Ravensbourne is in the middle (but is specialised in things like design and graphics).

Why do you warn against west London? also do you know anything in regards to the visual effects and motion graphics course in Brunel? read the course break wasn't really cgi focused. Also what do you think of Teesside university? or middle sex 3d animation and games?
Thanks
