Can I still claim my entire 2014-15 student loan amount?

I am currently a university student (living away from home) and my studies have been funded entirely by my parents so far. However, I need to raise money to pay for an operation which ideally I would have over the summer. As I haven't claimed any student funding so far, would I be entitled to the whole £3610 for next term, or would I only get £1200 ish?
You can claim student finance up to 9 months after your course starts, which would be about June.
