Past experiences proving independence to SFE??
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this that could give me an account of what they've been through.
My parents moved overseas a few months ago (right now I'm travelling on a gap year using my savings) and they say they won't be able to send me money next year although I do not understand why and they won't really explain. So anyway I'm filling out the SFE form and it says I may be considered independent if my parents live outside the EEA and cannot send money'--which according to my parents is the case.
Has anyone ever ticked this box before? What reasons did you give for you parents not being able to send money? What was your experience in proving it? (the more detail the better
)
