Both are good universities for law. I think you should choose according to your preferences.

1) Location - do you prefer a bigger city or a smaller city?
2) Distance from home - which one is further away?

Of course, there are numerous factors that you should consider, but I think it would make it easier for you to choose if you weigh in the advantages and disadvantages of each university.
I'd prefer Exeter as I find Birmingham too big a city and the uni too far out.

Thank you all for replying, but how about ranking? I would prefer to decide based on that than other factors.

Exeter has a superior law school, Birmingham has a superior location. At heart, what will make you more happy.

I am a international student, to me location does not matter that much, a better recognition of the law school is more important.

I've also heard that Exeter is better but some said Birmingham is above, kind of confusing as I don't live in UK.
