Stressed about uni transfer and failing a module

I got an offer from a university stating to pass and complete first year with a 55% average.

Being the pessimist I am I have fears I will fail one module in my course, but that I can still achieve the 55% target. However the pass mark for that module is 40% and if I were to get like a 35, can I still use that when it comes up to adding up the average mark with the other 7 modules I will be doing? Or if I fail a module, would it not be counted at all?

Furthermore if I were to fail that module, would that not count as completing or passing the year? This is making me very worried as I don't want to be dragged down by just one, and end up starting my first year again.

Would I have to take an extra module in my second year at the new university to compensate for this failure?

Thanks
