Rich bf

Okay the thing is my bf has no been very wealthy but I wouldn’t say he was poor, he was an average guy but for the last few days he was very either to tell me something and today when I asked him what it was he told me about how he’s suddenly become rich, you can say it was something like winning the lottery but not really.
The thing is I love him very much and I dont want things to change between us but there’s a doubt somewhere in my head that he might change, he may find someone better, its not that I dont have trust in him, infect I do but I just cant get rid of the doubt
We also have a long distance relationship, we didn’t meet on a chat site or anything but I knew him from before and we both have been going out for 10 months now, both aged 17
I just wanted to know your opinion about this?

Well...you see it depends who the problem is with. He may not changed at all but you're already paranoid and asking these questions and questioning him. It'd seem from what little knowledge i have that if there will be a down-fall in the relationship it'll be because of you.

Premium Bonds would be another one like lottery win but not.

I wouldn't worry about what could happen, just savour all the new money and expense he is going to spend on you!!

^^^ yeah that's the way forward!!! to be honest, there's no point worrying about him changing before it's even happened. just carry on as normal and if it's the real thing then your relationship will cope with his new found wealth.

I'm sure that if he's a geuinely nice guy, then money won't change your actual relationship.
As others have said, your concern over him changing now that he has money might spark a change in your relationship rather than anything he might do.

I don't think you have anything to worry about at the moment :smile:

You should only be concerned if he actually shows any negative changes.

Depends how much time you put in. It's very easy to earn over £60 an hour and that's with small stakes. Up the stakes and that number can be multiplied many times.

You'd have to do that consistently for days before you could begin to count yourself as rich, especially if you're talking about a level similar to a lottery win.
