Maybe he's inherited some money from relatives or something.

You'd have to do that consistently for days before you could begin to count yourself as rich, especially if you're talking about a level similar to a lottery win.

yeah, which is why i doubt it's a lottery win. inheritance maybe?

well yes something like that
If he's a decent bloke, then the fact that he now has money shouldn't change him at all. See how things go, and don't double guess what may or may not happen.
Is he Heather Mills' younger brother?

Has he suddenly taken to wearing sunglasses and walking into things; constantly complaining about stress; or perhaps he can't sit up straight?
then he would be more that a little rich. anywho its interesting hearing your angle i first thought that you might be annoyed that he's spending money on you. this happened to a friend of mine, the good thing is you had a solid relationship before hand. i think when something changes so signifficantly in someones life they would value the stability that old comforts provide. he will not unless hes a cock want to go round flaunting his riches too much and we'll probably appreciate that now he is rich girls might be more interested unless he's a shallow **** then he will valeu you. you liked him before you still do like him, your the stabiblity in his topsy turvey new world of riches. I don't think you should be worried, unless your boyfriend is a shallow ****** he will hang onto you :p:

er about what  whats a lottery win but not :s-smilie:

Inheritence?

This seems to be a problem with you rather than him. I'm not entirely sure what you think will change now he has money (except that he now has to worry about how to invest it and will be able to buy more stuff, but those aren't huge issues). Since when did you have to be rich to socialise (doesn't he do that anyway)? If you're worried about him ending up in some high society crowd then I doubt it'll happen, they like to stick with their own, not just people who happen to have money.

The poor chap got £82K for suffering from extreme whiplash.

Nowhere near enough, in my book.

Or, maybe he's lying that he's rich because he has a self-image problem; or he sees it as a way to get rid of you.

Maybe he wants to be rich so badly he's fantasised this massive influx of capital and is living in a little fantasy world where he's Duke of Berkshire or something.

yeah, just take it as it comes. if he starts displaying tosser-ish behaviour then he's not the great guy you thought he was. but until then he's still the same guy.

That is actually a condition i've read about it but the name escapes me. People spending more money than they have...women :p:

But the first sentence was serious. I may even look for a name i'm so eager to not think of work.
