Geography China and India's development

What are the similarities and differences between the causes and impacts of China and India's development?

You could talk about the Clark Fisher model and how China became the manufacturing capital of the world, so for India to develop it had to skip the second stage of the model (secondary employment i.e manufacturing) and got straight to tertiary, hence why loads of call centres and customer service bases are in India. :smile:
