Transfer from UK Medical colleges

I'm trying to transfer out of Univ of Nottingham (undergrad medicine) to any of the Medical Colleges in London. Univ. of Edinborough would also do. Anyone aware of any successful transfer cases and criteria, timelines, process etc. ? I'm in the first year.

Thanks !

Basically, your chances are virtually nil. Transfers just don't happen, even with extenuating circumstances.

What's the problem at Nottingham then?
Edinburgh:

Medicine and Veterinary Medicine

Transfers into Medicine and Veterinary Medicine programmes are not normally considered. However, Oxford, Cambridge and St Andrews pre-clinical medical students may apply for clinical medicine.

UCL:

MBBS Transfers (Other Medical Schools)

The Medical School regrets that it is currently unable to consider transfer application from universities other then Oxford and Cambridge, which have a formal agreement with the London Medical Schools, because of high student numbers and restricted capacity.
If places become available in the future, information about how to apply will be provided on this website. Under MBBS regulations transfers may only be considered for entry to Year 4.

King's

Oxbridge Medical Students

A direct entry agreement is in place between King’s and the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. Oxbridge applicants should use the common application procedure for third year direct entry agreed between Oxford, Cambridge and London (contact the Medical School offices at Oxford or Cambridge for an application form). There are approximately 34 places available each year.

Other UK Medical students

Each year, the School of Medicine will only accept a maximum of two transfers into the third year only. To be eligible, applicants must be: Either:
Enrolled on Phase 2 of an MBBS programme at a UK registered Medical School, with a comparable curriculum
OR
about to successfully complete an intercalated degree, having already completed Phase 2 of the MBBS programme
Competition is fierce, and applications are usually only considered from students with extreme extenuating circumstances and an outstanding academic record. Please contact the Admissions Office (Health) team via our Admissions Enquiry Form for further guidance.

Not sure about Imperial, Barts or SGUL

Barts stopped all transfers some 5 years ago.
I think UCL accepts applicants from any UK med school for its MB/PhD course
