    Jimmy Carr
    Me again

I've just seen tour dates for Jimmy Carr in December, which I'm very excited about However, I saw one of his live shows on Channel 4 a couple of weeks ago, and I don't know if its the same show. I don't want to buy tickets if it is the same, so does anyone know if its new or not?

    Thanks xx

I dunno - i am going on Dec 3rd in London - if you PM me the day after I will tell you some of the topics he discussed

won't be much help if you wanna goto the same show mind!!

I was mightly pissed when I saw a Lee Mack show on TV, loved it wanted to see him live - went and saw him but he repeated most of the jokes from TV (a BBC 1 show no less) that most peopel had prob seen - nonetheless it was a fantastic show because he did laods of extar things and had some amazing crowd interaction.

Im pretty sure it is a different show to the one he is doing live. I saw him live in April and that was new stuff ...the show on Channel 4 the other night was his old stand-up dvd (which i also own).

I went tonight and was not disappointed! It was all material I hadn't heard before, and it was hysterical.

My jaw is aching I laughed so much

It will never be quite the same show but one thing to watch out for is that Jimmy Carr relies heavily on the audience for much of his show! So basically it means Crap audience = Crap show

Yeah he really did! We were in Manchester, so there was plenty of bait

It was hysterical though, so glad I went!

I've managed to miss out on tickets to see him at the Warwick Arts Centre not once but twice. I'm just too slow to get things booked sadly. Jimmy Carr has the potential to be very very funny when he doesn't go through an endless string of one liners.

He was brilliant the Sunday before last at Hammersmith...was I think the 3rd time there and fourth at all seeing him - me and my mate have made it into a yearly tradition.

I really find him to be very funny-some like Peter Kay just aren't for me, I have seen both DVD's and they are fab. But he does rely on the audience, so if they are not good then as said before it wont be so good. I would love to see him but he never performs near me. what do people think of Jethro? he is well funny "aint that lovely" in a cornish accent cracks me up everytime.
