Westminster or Swansea

I applied for psychology and so far only got offers from Westminster and Swansea. I know Swansea is higher in rankings but Westminster is in London and has it's upsides. Which one would you choose?
I would choose Westminster entirely based on the fact that it is in London which is a fair advantage. Other than that there isn't anything great about Westminster. Swansea is just a bit better.
They are very different places. England or Wales? London will be more expensive to live in but how far will you have travel to Swansea? Swansea is a better university but Westminster is in London.

it depends what you want. if you go to Westminster you will be in the middle of a very large city. if you decide to come to Swansea you will be right by the beach in a huge park with a city centre 2 miles away. you will also be on the edge of britains first area of outstanding natural beauty. my advice is to visit both and decide. for what its worth Swansea university is what unis university of the year. to give you some information the location is absolutely outstanding and you will find the people far more friendly. the city itself has the same shops most have. Debenhams M&S BHS New Look Primark Top Shop River Island Boots Next Miss Selfridge Argos Tesco and the indoor market has just been voted UKs best indoor market. In terms of sporting facilities the uni has a sports park including Wales National Pool and an athletics track. local nightlife is somewhat legendary. Wind Street is a street full of bars clubs and eateries. The city also has 2 cinemas a bowing centre casino and a theatre. There is also a leisure centre and a couple of museums. The city centre is very compact and everything is within a 5-10 minute walk. The major differences will probably that the cost of studying in London will be far higher and that you might have live several miles away from the uni whereas the furthest you will travel in Swansea will be 2 miles

Thank you all for the opinions, well i'm an international student so i will be traveling a long way for both of them anyway:biggrin: I really want to study in London as i'm more of a big city type but i was also wondering if going to Swansea would give me advantages like getting into a better uni for master's or is the teaching better there?

I and I don't think anyone else is really able to accurately answer that but the league tables suggest it is. there are a couple of problems you need to be aware of if your coming from overseas. firstly it is far more expensive in London than elsewhere. secondly because of the huge accommodation costs in the city centre you are likely to have to live some distance away and travel in. this is not the case in Swansea or many other universities where you can practically walk almost everywhere. thirdly there is the safety issue. it is far safer here than being in London. all I can say to you is I talk to lots of Swansea students from all over the world and I have not yet met one who regrets coming here. I spoke to one last here who was returning to Beijing and he told me life in Swansea is much better than there. I have had similar comments from Brazilians I have met and English people have also told me this
