What do the following formula's tell you about the structure and bonding?

Stuck on this question :/ i've attempted some of them but dont know if they're right.
a) CH4
b) Mg
c) SiO2
d) CaBr2
e) Ar
What have you got so far?

a) CH4 - simple molecular
b) Mg - metallic bonding
c) SiO2 - giant covalent
d) CaBr2 - ionic bonding
e) Ar
- van der Waals'

That's what I got so far

For Ar that should say van der Waals'

You're missing the structures for b, d & e. You're missing the bonding (i.e. I'd suggest naming the IMF) for a. I'd tell you them, but I bet you know them.

The plural of formula is formulae.
