Explain how lactic acid is removed during recovery after the build up of oxygen debt?

I'm not sure how its removed sorry... But the process is called anaerobic respiration.

Lactic acid is produced from anaerobic respiration as the breakdown of glucose is incomplete, and is dispersed at the end of a session during active cool-downs and stretching. This is because the muscles are in less demand than when they were working anaerobically previously, and so can now repay the oxygen debt (hence why breathing is quick and deep). The lactic acid is OXIDISED into carbon dioxide and water, which is carried from the body and muscles in the lungs and bloodstream. Hope this helps ^-^
