I think whether or not you're in a relationship has an effect on this. When I'm horny now, I would prefer to have sex and masturbating kind of feels depressing cos it's me on my own. So I'd rather wait til next time I see my boyfriend to sort my needs out haha. But before I was in a relationship a few times every fortnight.

And yes, relationships do affect this.
