Any ex forces here used free degree scheme?

I'm looking for advice from anyone who has used the elcas publicly funded degree scheme.

Just need to find out your experience with it and also how they went about checking your previous educational qualifications, can't get an answer from elcas (go figure) and don't particularly want to ask the education office or SSR.

Cheers in advance
If you are still serving, go and ask your education office. It's what they are there for.

If you go here http://www.enhancedlearningcredits.com/PF%20FE-HE/ there is a pdf to download that even has a flowchart of what to do when.

Yeh it's more of a specific bit of advice Im looking for, im basically looking for anyone who knows how they check your education quals... Education office give different answers to my current predicament and elcas were as much use as a chocolate tea pot.

Cheers though mate
Looking at the flow charts, I would interpret it that the potential student works with the learning provider to establish whether the course is suitable for them. As part of that, I'd see it being your responsibility to prove to them that you have the ability / time / money / qualifications to be successful on that course. I did a Masters using my ELC and it was administered through ELCAS. It was up to me to speak to my potential college and get their agreement to a place before I started the paperwork. That meant I had to provide them with my education and write my personal statements etc.
