BSc Econometrics and Mathematical Economics at LSE

Hi i was wondering how important it is to have work experience for this specific course and if so, how much. Also if there is someone who is or has taken this course, how is it? I also heard that because they do not do interviews, they care a lot about GCSEs, I got 6A*, 4A, 1B. Good enough?
Thanks

This specific course is very academically orientated and is more of a path towards research at the Masters/PhD level. You would normally (almost exclusively) apply for a 2nd Year transfer into that course once you're already at LSE however - they almost never accept you onto EME right out of 6th Form.

Would they accept a transfer from Gov & Econ?
