I am slightly confused, could someone help?

Kings college want ABB for computer science but the guardian places them in tariff band 4 which says you are expected to have between 240 319 points, which is not even ABB if you exclude your AS grade. Could tell me why this is so?

the guardian may have simply got it wrong, it happens. just go with what Kings say, if they say they want ABB, regardless of what any paper, website or book says the uni want ABB so thats what ure aiming for.

The tariff points in the league tables are what the average applicant for that uni and course has, not what the uni want. They usually include General Studies, dropped ASs and sometimes even Key Skills and music qualifications, which is why the points are so high.
