applied science?

to take a certain course at uni I must have '280 UCAS tariff points, eg, BBC at A level. These must include Chemistry and Biology' if I were to take applied science at a level will it still class as biology and chemistry?? (obviously along with two other a level subjects)

Not likely, so it would require the actual Biology and Chemistry subjects themselves. Applied Science does contains some of the material that is taught in those two ccourses, but not enough to count as a replacement if they specifically ask for them.
