That's a very small number, but I suppose MH is quite specialised. Glad you had a good day. x

Ah bless you Liam. I bet you were ready for bed when you fell through the door! Not a problem - I'm always happy to help where I can  xx
Did anyone get asked today if they'd take the March intake? I was asked but am not taking that as a sign or anything, after all the stuff needs marking etc......:s-smilie:
I wanted my bed after today but had to go and do a 3 hour biology practical..... Am gonna go there now. I just would like to say that we all seemed such a nice bunch, they should give us all a chance!
Just want to echo what Liam said, you've been a great help Carlene, ta!
Yeahh they asked me whether I'd be interested in the march intake but I have to finish my a levels :frown: xx

Yes I said I'd love to do March but I will be finishing off my HEFC course (Biology is my final subject). I have put so much work into it and it would be crazy to not get the full diploma!

Awww Liam this was so nice to see when i got back from work! it sure was nice meeting you to. I think everyone got on really well with each other, which was refreshing.

Ahhhh, Liv is Sarah!! thanks for clarifying this, it would of left me pondering for days! I think you weren't sat on the chairs at the beginning when we were discussing who we've spoken to on this forum Sarah?? eeee the mystery is solved!

**Oh and just a note to other's going to the Northumbria interview - Make sure you do your research on topical issues in the media and don't be put off by the one on one interview. I think all they want to know is why you want to become a nurse and what qualities you have to bring to the nursing profession. Oh and there wasn't a maths test for the people that struggle with these on the spot tests! :-D X

Brilliant Liam! I thought you came across very well and mature beyond your years! I am just going to have to relax now until selection thing..... Else i'll explode from holding my breath!
Yeah to both of you!! As I explained to Sarah on FB, I've been told by Uni that the selection event is going to take place around mid-December. They will get back to candidates 7-10 days following it. I estimate that it would have to take place around 4th December though as the Uni closes for Xmas on 14th Dec (unless the Nursing academic folk stay longer - I hope not!). Send off your refs asap. The admissions tutors will check them for suitability and then put forward your details for the SE. All we have left to do is brace ourselves and pray!! :0/ xx
I was there again today for the nursing taster course. The man who did MHN was great - really good presentation. People like that really inspire!
Wish I could of come but couldn't afford the time it takes me to come up! And thanks Sarah that's kind of you to say, if all goes to plan we'll be on the same course come September haha! And thank you Carlene your knowledge never fails to astound me! At least now I know when abouts to expect a decision! Fingers crossed ladies xx

Well Liam, all has changed. My knowledge, as it were, has been turned upside down by Northumbria. Because...*drum roll*...both me and another girl found out today that we have places for Adult nursing starting in March! Wooooooohoooooo! I could not believe it when I got an email from UCAS and checked Track. 10 days after my interview, when they said it would take months. I think they tell you to wait til after the SE but in actual fact just wait to receive your reference and if that checks our you're in. Wine now in hand

Everything crossed that you guys hear soon!! xx
