Why are the media obsessed

With Black parents giving birth to White skinned babies?

First White really is should be used for Caucasian European people, race is not entirely built on skin colour.

It's like saying Albino's are White when you any race/ethnicity can have Albino's.

Even if a two black parents have a blue eyed, blonde pale skinned kid it's still genetically African and not related to White people.

There are lots of people who are white but not Caucasian, or even European though... I think that's why 'white' gets used instead. Having a genetic condition like albinism does not change your race lol

With your logic, how come it's ok to say 'black'? Not everyone with dark skin is from the same race or has the same culture :/

The media probably reports on it because it's so rare to have a child that shares the same skin colour as only one parent (a mix is more common, thanks to the inheritance of genes from both parents controlling skin colour).

Also, in your scenario at the end- firstly not all black people are African, so this hypothetical kid would not necessarily be African just because their parents are black. Secondly, one of the parents would have had to have a white person in their heritage- otherwise the genes for light skin, blue eyes and blond hair would not be present at all.

I only believe in one race - the human race.
