can i have the same accommodation as my mate?

me and my friend applied for the same accommodation but would we be able to have the same flat?
Give the accommodation office a call and see what they can do. I know at some unis they ask on the forms if you would like to be put with a friend. If both of you tell your uni that you want to share, I'm pretty positive it will happen.

You can request to be placed with someone during the application process. There's no guarantee they'll actually put you together though.
