application for organizing and keeping track of work and tasks at Uni?

Im increasingly finding it hard to keep on top of everything and remember all i need to do during the week, maybe im just getting old :frown:
Ive never really used calendar apps or anything as such as they seemed quite complex but i feel i need something now.
I would use it just to keep up on my daily events, like lectures or appointments with features for reminders on the calender.
I use windows and would like it to sync with my android phone.
Any recommendations, preferably free or at least with free trial.
I use mystudylife! it's really good for keeping track of classes, work etc
I use google calendar - its the only way I can keep track of my schedule now. I use that for events and deadlines, but I also use wunderlist for to-do lists for tasks (highly recommend it - v easy to use and free)
