Obviously past papers are the best way forward but if it comes to learning content it's important to learn formulas or common concepts present in each subject.

Maths: the only thing you can really do is papers, once you've done lots of the papers it starts to become easier and quicker. Try to motivate yourself by aiming to score higher in the next paper e.g. by increasing by 2 marks and if you do reward yourself.

Biology: again past papers are important but make sure you know the content inside out to maximise your marks. Learn the content by using a text book alongside a revision guide or a series of online websites to help you. Make notes, flash cards, posters, mind maps, drawings, etc - the more you do, the more the information will stick. Make sure you re-read the notes though and maybe even test some of your friends or get your family to test you.

Chemistry: this is probably where learning concepts is most important, there's no point touching questions until you're familiar with the basic parts of units; only then can you combine them and relate them to different questions. Similar to biology, revise using different sources and different ways. When it comes to things like organics, make up rhymes or something to help you remember and everything should fall into place then.

Only start doing past paper practice when you're fairly confident with content (check using your spec). There's no point doing papers if you're just going to do badly as it will make you feel worse. Also don't just learn from the mark schemes, rote learning only goes so far - answer, check and if it's wrong understand where you went wrong or research the topic further.

It is difficult to motivate yourself because it's a lot of effort but the more variety you have, the less of a chore it becomes.
