thing is, it is your body and you will do with it what you want,
my mum is fine with me getting a tattoo because i want a
tongue piercing more which she hates the idea of, so im getting
my tongue done at uni next year and ive told her this. By that time
hopefully she'll get used to it and im 250 miles away anyway.

Just drop the subject of tattoos in a conversation and see how they react,
unless they specifically say "if you get a tattoo you'll get no help with uni fees," you're fine
which is exactly what my friend has done, her parents have yet to find out however, but to me, its a stupid thing to do, tattoos can wait surely.
she has 2 and one she has told her sister about, so not only does she have to cover up, she has to keep her sister sweet as well.
is it worth it?
