Full-time trading position at BB without an internship???
Hi, guys. I am an undergraduate student at a UK uni ranked around 30, and going to start Mphil in Finance at Cambridge in Sep 2015.
I am pursuing trading postion at an investment bank. However, I do not have any trading internship experience (nor any other division within IB), and it is too late to find a summer analyst position now. The only intership i did was at a medium sized asset management firm.
So I want to ask the following questions.
1. Is there any case that a person got a full-time position at a trading desk without having a related internship?
2. Is it possible to move onto trading desks after having a few years of IBD or Research careers?
