Test is 3 weeks away, and I had worst lesson yet. Do i reschedule?

Advice please.

Booked my test 2 weeks ago as instructor recommended for 5 weeks.
I missed my lesson last week because of placement, and then had a lesson friday.

We decided to go back to manouevers, although we haven't done them in a while.
The first was a bay park, I haven't done one in over 6 weeks has we've been learning other things, I used to be fantastic at them - but I majorly went wrong.
After that the lesson turned into a mess. I kept forgetting everything and making silly mistakes on road - I was really stressed and my instructor looked nervous too.

We spoke about spending my last 3 lessons going over manouevers to refresh me as they were never an issue before. (Except reserve round corner, which took me a while longer) and my general driving is good enough when I'm not stressed.

Although most the mistakes were caused under pressure and stress I am feeling even more nervous about my test.
Has anyone got any advice to whether I should consider moving it back more? :frown:
you've had a bad day, everyone has bad days, make sure it doesnt affect your confidence.

my last lesson had a number of mistakes, including almost having a coach crash into me (yes it was extremely close). it wasnt my fault but i felt like crap feeling that i couldve dealt with it in a better way.

oh well, just make sure you feel good and energised and motivated before you go to your next lesson, and itll be better.

no problem!

and don't reschedule if you're already a good driver. like i said i had a bad day in my last lesson, and my test is in 2 weeks. before that i had great lessons.

if you feel too unprepared try take more lessons, but dont let this one off destroy your confidence and dent all the progress you've made so far.
I cancelled my test as I didn't quite feel ready after a bad lesson (to be fair I really wasn't ready looking back at it) and I couldn't get another test in for like 3 months (there were circumstances preventing my test) but you don't know what is going to happen.

I had errors with general drivinf and hesitation. Manoeuvres are things that can be sorted relevantly easily. I had quite a bad drive on the way to my test as in hitting my wing mirrors on buildings! But nerves got better when I started the test and passed 1st time

Don't be worried about bay parking! Not 100% about the rest of the UK but in Scotland, it's a manoevre that they will never test us on.

In regards to everything else, again - don't worry! Nobody is a perfect driver and we all make silly mistakes.

depends entirely on the test center, if the test center has its own bays, then there's always a possibility that it'll be the maneuver on test.
