Edinburgh vs SOAS for Arabic?

Basically what the title says...I'm at a loss which to choose for my insurance... (Exeter being my firm)...
Any advice?

Definitely go for SOAS. SOAS is well respected for Languages and is what it specialises in. It is also part of the University of London.

What about rankings tho....?
SOAS is like no.400 compared to Edinburgh's high ranking...

I would ignore rankings in this case. SOAS is ranked low internationally because it isn't a multidisciplinary university and isn't research intensive but one thing no one can refute is that SOAS is internationally renowned for the study of languages and cultures. That is one thing SOAS has over Edinburgh. Also to mention the student life and study atmosphere is amazing at SOAS. Went to an open day there, I really liked it.
