Average grade

Hello all, fast question really

Out of three modules, I am currently averaging a 2-1

I am in the middle of a new set of three modules and struggling majorly with one - so much so I have been aiming to complete the minimum each time )though achieving slightly above). This doesn't bother me as I have no interest in the module anyway, and knew it never suited my 'skill set'

I wonder - as it is a compulsory module - how much can a 2:2 affect my overall grade for the year?

Depends on the % you got for each module and the credit weightings. And it also sounds like you're in first year in which case your grade for this year likely has no weighting on your degree.
