NHS STP 2015 Interview Prep

Hello everyone,

Ive got an interview for the STP for Medical Physics in April, and I'm just wondering how people are going about preparing? I am currently finishing off my undergrad degree in Physics and I'm aware that many applicants have done PhDs or similar degree levels, so I'm trying to see what I can do to give myself a chance against these braniacs! Does anyone know what kinds of things are asked? (especially with regard to the technical parts of the interview)

Mine is next week! :-/ I keep getting bogged down in the specialism specific stuff. I hope the level they want isnt too complex. I'm just wondering how we need to tailor our experience to our answers.

My colleague is interviewing... might be a bit awkward!

I think we need to know about NHS policies and the constitution, I guess a bit about recent NHS/science news stories.

Hi,
I've got an interview for Cardiac Science towards the end of this month- starting to get pretty nervous! Does anyone know what level of technical knowledge we're supposed to have? The idea of being put into a clinical situation during interview is pretty scary!

hi i have an inteview too for cardiac science on the 20th! I was a shortlist reserve and I have no idea what to expect

I'm wondering if anyone on this forum remembers what questions they got asked last year? I've got my interview coming up at the end of this month and really scared!

Its a long shot, but anyone remember some interview questions from the previous years. General science questions and my specialism is cardiac. Thanks.

Hi, My specialism will be cardiac too - how are the questions? Don't need specifics as a bit unfair, but what resources were most useful? Any textbooks or clinical books that you recommend?
