Year 12s: what will be the first way you research your future options? >>

help!!! what shall I pick as a degree subject?

I am currently doing as levels (chemistry, biology, physics and maths). I am sooo confused as to what to drop and what to do as a degree subject! I wanted to do medicine until I realised how much of a drag it is and how much I didn't like it.

I was considering software engineering/law/actuarial science (perhaps vetinary science as I like lions)

Economics

A degree is personal, so cant really pick one for you. I did a BSc. In business management and just got a grad job in accounting (will be doing a CA as part of the grad scheme). Alot of grad opportunities in this country are not restricted by degree type but rather by the marks you get ( I will be doing Tax consulting/a chartered accounting and tax advisory qualification, and yet know virtually nothing about accounting/finance).
Short answer: Do something you really enjoy, its the marks you get, experiences and personal growth that count.
