Why do American courts seem so rigid in their enforcement? This reminds me of when cars are crushed here in the UK simply because of owner errors (no insurance, VED, etc.)
Surely once the guilty parties are dealt with the authorities should dispose of the assets in a more environmentally friendly way? Nowhere does it say that these fireworks were dangerous or unsuitable for sale. Surely there are fireworks professionals who can put them to better use than a giant smouldering fire...
