For water the latent heat of fusion is 3.3x105 J kg-1, the latent heat of vaporisation is 2.3x106 J kg-1 , and the heat capacity of liquid water is 4.2x103 J kg-1 K-1 . How much heat is (in kJ) required to boil 2kg of ice initially at 0C0?
