Best social/party accommodation for exchange student

Hey all,

I going to be studying at Leeds uni next semester as an exchange student and was wondering where the best accommodation would be for night life/socialising? I would prefer to live with locals who know the area and where to go out and trying to avoid quiet studious places. Not too fussed about kitchen facilities etc as long as it's close to uni and bars!

Any advice would be appreciated!

Cheers
Hey! I'm going to Leeds as an exchange student this year too! I'm friends with a couple of students who went on exchange to Leeds in previous years and they've recommended Henry Price, Leodis, and James Baillie as the most social.

Oh sweet! Where are you from? I've been told about James Baillie from people who've done exchange. Do you know when the applications open for accommodation? I'm guessing that a lot of people will be applying for these places

I'm coming to Leeds september this year as an exchange student too! Im coming from Australia  I'm currently deciding between James Baillie and Lupton!! Ive heard from a few returned students that Lupton is very social, but I'm worried about the distance it is from uni/how small the rooms are so at the moment I'm leaning towards James Baillie. I haven't applied yet - I was told when we get our confirmation of study from Leeds we will get instructions how to do it

I'm also an exchange student! I'm from the Netherlands . And I'm hesitating... Lupton is probably my first choice, but North Hill Court also seemed nice!
And btw, you shouldn't worry about the distance from Lupton to the campus! I have heard that it's really not that far, and if you rent a bike, you are there within 10 min (or less).

Henry Price, James Baillie and Leodis are all considered very social accommodations!

Hi @kate387! Which uni are you coming from? I just received confirmation of my application last week. I think I'm gonna go with James Baillie
I am also coming to leeds in september from australia for exchange. A friend recommended henry price or dobree in charles morris, although I have read that charles morris is posh? I am not sure which one to go with. Have any of you chosen yet?
I am coming to leeds in september from australia as well. I just want to be in a really sociable college with locals. A friend recommended henry price or dobree in charles morries, although I have not read many good reviews about charles morris. What college is everyone going with?
