I was just wondering if uni's will call the place you are working for any reason? Has anybody had any experience of that?

Yeah, Warwick did that last year with an applicant at my school. It was nothing serious, they just asked how good she was there.

thank-you, I was just wondering because I thought if they did then I would speak to HR beforehand, as they don't know any staff individually, and they would prob give the reference.
