Edinburgh or Leeds for English

Which should I firm? They're both the same requirements (AAA) and my insurance will be Liverpool uni.
I want to study English language and literature, I love the look of both courses, the only difference being that Edinburgh's is a 4 year course and after that it's just down to the uni itself as I love both cities.

Which is better (in your opinion)?

Also, as I am paranoid I'll miss the grades (though I shouldn't unless I mess up a lot), is either one more lenient than the other for accepting dropped grades?

I only had two passes at Higher when I applied for Edinburgh (luckily both were an A) and they gave me a conditional offer in which I had to pass two more Highers at a B grade. I'd say they were pretty lenient in making me that offer, despite their good reputation for being the ideal Uni to study English in. In the end, even though I met my conditions, I didn't go to Edinburgh but if you're choosing between Edinburgh and Leeds, based on what I saw from Edinburgh, I'd pick Edinburgh :smile:
Edinburgh wins for sure.
