I'm a first year at a Top 10 uni and I'm trying to choose my optional modules for next year. The compulsory ones are:
Land Law (Exam)
EU Law (Exam)
Jurisprudence (Exam)
Optionals:
Medical Law (Coursework)
Company Law (Exam)
Post-GCSE French (75% Coursework 25% Exam)
To be honest Company Law doesn't interest me that much. I'd rather take Crime, Justice and Society or Comparative Law instead, but I haven't fully decided on which career path I want to take so I am still trying to keep my options open. CJS and Comparative are both coursework based subjects which is a plus because I hate having so much pressure on the June exams.
So will commercial firms think less of me because I haven't taken Company Law or a similar module? What if I tell them I will take Commercial Law next year?
