Looks like you forgot to convert from liters to cubic meters, so your answer is 1000 times too big!

I am told to use litres rather than dm^3/m^3 in my course.
I'm not to sure why buts it just how they work here.

Well, they don't tell you to get the answer wrong, so you probably should convert anyway.

So if I divide by 1000 that should give me the answer in cubic meters ?
Also would the units be (Pa m^3) / (JMol^-1 K^-2) ?

Yeah, when using liters you either change the order of the gas constant or convert volume to cubic meters. A pascal is a newton over a meter squared so using liters would kinda mess it up :P
