Identities and the Media (Case Study Mest 3 AQA)

Struggling with creating a case study (as well as one for the new and digital media case study. Dont know what to focus it on what theories to use or how to structure the answer.
Can peeps please share their ideas for the case study and how they will answer it.
Im thinking about doing how teenage girls create identity.
Well you should take an approach from many different medium. Based on the USG theory (Uses and Gratifications) you have texts such as magazines (Company and Cosmopolitan for example) where they are exposed to what is believed to be feminine beauty when in reality its just Photoshop. You can also see them as getting ideas for identity from celebrities ,like Kim Kardashian (Mainstream) and Zoella (YouTube). Just look into films and TV that give a stereotypical representation of teenage girls, i did something similar to this a couple of weeks back and it was surprising how many teenage girls based their identity on such weird texts
