Putting on a fake accent at work
HiHi guys I'm currently studying drama at uni and I have to put on a Scottish Glasgow accent for my character as the play is set in Glasgow. Trouble is my dialect coach said try the accent out everyday...even in my restaurant workplace. Do you think its OK or will a possible Scottish customer feel insulted even though I'm doing it well at the moment??

Not insulting at all. And if anyone ever asks why you are putting on an accent just say I'm practicing for a show. I'm sure they'll understand
