Hey everyone,
I have a quick question- in order to do this exam would someone need to do fieldwork and go on trips in relation to the research for this exam? I'm a private candidate which is why I'm thinking if I should or shouldn't take on board this qualification. I wanted to in the beginning but because I thought there was coursework I didn't. But after properly analysing the specification it seems to be all exams with unit 2 and 4 about independent research. It's the fieldwork bit I am unsure of, if anyone could explain what this would mean- I would really appreciate it :smile:

No for unit 4 you dont need fieldwork!

Oh cool. So hope you don't mind me asking but in A2 did your school go on any trips? If you did I'm guessing it wasn't essential for your A2 exams right? So from what I know, it may just be unit 2 that requires fieldwork/ a field trip.
