Posted from TSR Mobile My specification is Edexcel AS physics.We don't specifically do ultrasound,but since ultrasound is a longitudinal wave ,I suspect we are meant to use the fact longitudinal waves cause compression waves which travel to the metal, which then are reflected back onto the monitor.
