Which UWE city accommodation?! Cherry court, Phoenix court or Blenheim court?

I'm going to Bristol UWE in september and have decided that I think I want to live in the city but I don't know which one to choose! It is between Cherry, Phoenix or Blenheim court I think as they are all en suite.

I want to be able to have good access to nights out but also don't want to be going out every night of the week and so i've opted out of the marketgate option.

Can anyone help me out here? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Heyo Joey - I'm in the same boat! I've gone for Cherry (as it's where I got accepted) - Rooms look okay + kitchen is alright - good access to Gloucester Rd & city centre & uwe bus

Some pretty cool vibes around that way with lots of independent shops and not a mission to bring chicks back

You made a decision on this yet ?

Hey guys,

Have you ever considered private accommodation in the city centre? At Vita student Bristol, we have plenty of residents who study at UWE and catch the bus outside the development which is a short 10 - 15 minute journey.

Why not check out our accommodation our our website: http://www.vitastudent.com/locations/bristol/

If you have any questions at all, dont hesitate to ask and we will happily answer them! To get in touch email us on [email protected] and one of our lovely lettings team will help you find your perfect studio!

Have a lovely day

I was on Frenchay Campus for first year but did go to the city accommodation quite a lot.. My favourite was Phoenix wasn't exactly bouncing but it's next door to Market Gate which is by far the most social city centre accommodation (bit skatty though)! Phoenix is the nicest inside in my opinion and the security are sound too
Hi Guys

If you're not sure on where to live you can always go into private halls, our property Fusion Tower is right in the heart of Bristol and already has quite a few UWE students coming to it, so you wouldn't be alone! Come down and have a look if you're in Bristol or visit our website for more info: http://www.collegiate-ac.com/uk-student-accommodation/bristol/fusion-tower

Let us know if you've got any questions or want some more information, have a great day!

Hi i know this is a really old thread but I'm applying to do film at uwe and was wondering how you found the accommodation is. Im looking at one in the city centre. I want one which would be good for socialising/parties, not one that is quiet with nothing much going on but still nice inside. I heard that Nelson and Drake and Marketgate are the two best but then I also heard that its impossible to get a room with an en-suite without a medical note if you want to stay at Nelson Drake so that's a bit offputting. Any advice would be great!

hi i have been accepted and hope to be studying Media at UWE starting Sept. '21 and im just the same. I want to sesh some nights but also be able to rest yano? I am thinking of Phoenix since it is always close to a party and is in the centre with clubs n that. Phoenix is legit next door to Marketgate so ez access with good living conditions... ya never know, we might end up in the same halls cuz we are doing a similar course kinda
