Higher History

Hello! Anyone currently revising for Higher History and willing to share their study tips? How are you studying/do you use any methods to keep it interesting? I find it difficult to keep interested in my History revision so any advice would be much appreciated.

Usually I write out the knowledge points from the paragraphs and the argument. I then make flash cards and essay plans as mind maps which really helps. Once I've remembered everything I practice writing the essays in timed conditions as that's the hardest part.

For paper 2 I just practice source questions, I usually find the knowledge sticks better while answering questions rather than mind-mapping or something like that. That being said I find it hard to revise essays without completely writing them out again and again hahaha, any tips on this?
